Michigan Sets Record $3.8bn Online Gambling Revenue 2025

Gross gaming revenue in Michigan touches $3.8 billion in 2025 by experiencing double-digit growth in the state’s online casinos and sports betting markets. As per the Michigan Gaming Control Board, these figures suggest a 29.5% increase from 2024. 

The data reveals that iCasino revenue was up by 26.5% touching  $3.1 billion, and sports betting records a 45.8% hike, generating $671.3 million in revenue. Adjusted gross revenue marked $3.3 billion, which was 39.5% growth year-on-year.  Out of these 2.1 billion is derived from online gambling, with no receipts, and the remaining $435.9 million comes from sports betting.

During this year, players have wagered $5.41 billion in total, which is 1.9% more compared to 2024. The state collected  $624.6 million in taxes in 2025. In total, tax online casinos account for $597.5 million and $27.1 million in sports betting.

In December, iGaming receipts figures were $315.8 million, which is ahead of the previous record by 13.4% set in October.
