The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) reported $892.2 million, which beats the previous record set in September by 11.5%. This new monthly record is also 19.3% greater than the $748.1 million wagered in October. Players wagered online for $879.2 million, and the remaining $12.6 million in retail sportsbooks.
The sportsbook revenue in October reached $70.7 million. This was, however, up 47.6% from the previous year and 36.3% higher than September. Despite this, the gambling revenue that was taxable fell much below  $96.4 million recorded in January 2025. Â
The majority of the revenue, approximately $70.7 million, belongs to online sports betting. The rest of $598,901 has come from the retail sportsbook. With reference to this data, the Massachusetts state monthly holds stands at 7.99%.
