According to reports from the Arizona Department of Gaming, the sports betting handle in Arizona experienced a decline, resulting in a drop in gross gaming revenue to $543 million in 2025. However, it remains 19.6% higher than the revenue made in the same month of the previous year.Â
The majority of the sportsbooks preferred online betting, contributing $540 million to the total handle. Only the remaining $2.6 million is attributed to retail betting. It is to be noted that Arizona players received $478 million in return, accounting for gross receipts of $67.3 million.
