Michigan Reports Records Online Gambling in October

  • Michigan online gambling revenue rose to $352.3 million in October, setting a new record.

  • The gross revenue for online sports betting shot up by 123.6% year-over-year.  

Michigan has surpassed its previous online gambling revenue record of $312.5 million by 12.7% which was registered in August. The new record high for online betting revenue is now $352.3 million.

The reports from the Michigan Gaming Control Board suggest that the gross income of online gambling was 38.9% higher by October 2024. iGaming platforms have generated a gross revenue of $278.5 million, representing a 26.2% increase over last year.

The gross receipts from Internet sports betting reached $73.8 million, with an exceptional year-over-year growth of 123.6%. This figure marks one of the highest totals in Michigan since the legal market was established in August 2020. 

With the inclusion of promotional spending, the market total was 49.1% higher than $310.9 million attained last year. The gross receipts of IGaming rose by 31.8%. At the same time, the gross revenue for sports betting jumped 397%.
